About the bath
The mineral bath in Gorna Breznitsa was built in 2003 entirely with donations and the volunteer work of the local people. It is probably the only bath built since socialism on the initiative and with the funding of a local community. The building is solid and single-storey, with two sections (men's and women's) with pools, showers and stone basins (kurni). It is open only in summer.

The water and its healing properties

The water rises at about 36 °C. It is suitable for treating lung, bone and joint, and skin conditions.
