Na Baniamineral baths of Bulgaria БГ

About the bath

Baths in the middle of nature, built by the local people. Until 2015 one of the natural springs on the right bank of the river formed two small pools, surrounded by a sheet-metal fence, in two separate rooms.
In 2015 a building was put up over the springs: a bath with two rooms (a men's and a women's section) – small baths now used for balneotherapy and relaxation.
The building, called “Kalni Bani” (Mud Baths), is a small single-storey building with a men's and a women's section. The rooms have small therapeutic pools at about 40 °C, set over the springs. The water is captured at the fissure and fills the pools directly.

The water and its healing properties

The waters are about 38 °C. Among the hyperthermal waters typical of the area there are also several cold springs, with an optimal concentration of fluoride (1 mg/l) and a low content of sodium ions
(up to 20 mg/l). They are low in minerals, sodium, fluoride and silicic waters, clear, odourless and pleasant to drink.
They are suitable for treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular, gynaecological and skin conditions.
