The water and its healing properties
The water rises at a very high temperature, about 90 °C. In the bath's plunge pools it is mixed with cold water down to about 39 °C. From the website lekuva.net we learned that “The mineral springs near Varvara are beneficial for people with inflammatory, traumatic and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Bathing in the pools is good for patients with traumatic and inflammatory diseases of the nervous system. People with gout, obesity, diabetes, skin diseases and other conditions can also benefit from the sulphur-rich water.” The water is not suitable for drinking.
