About the bath
The large, solid and imposing building of the Pazardzhik mineral bath was put up back in 1962 in the modernist style. The bath got its mineral water from the Varvara mineral baths. The architecture of the building, with its large terrace and canopy, is impressive. There was also a mineral water fountain in front of the bath, and in the beautiful park around it a fountain with a female figure. In 2013, on a proposal by mayor Todor Popov, the mineral bath was sold by decision of Pazardzhik Municipal Council and became private property. The building's use was later changed, and it is now a shop. The renovation completely destroyed its architectural appearance.
