Na Baniamineral baths of Bulgaria БГ

About the bath

The bath is part of a huge complex of buildings and a park belonging to the balneological sanatorium in the village of Stefan Karadzhovo, built in the early 1980s. It was closed and left to fall into ruin in the mid-1990s. After several unsuccessful attempts, in 2015 the sanatorium was sold, with a declared investor's intention to develop a modern complex there. A concession for bottling the mineral water from the deposit is to be granted, as happened in Barziya, while the future of the balneotherapy buildings remains unclear.
