About the bath
The “Ovoshtnik” mineral bath is on the road between Kazanlak and the village of Ovoshtnik. Near the bath there is a car park with spaces for visitors, and opposite the bath there is a public transport stop.
The building is solid and single-storey, built after an architectural competition in the late 1930s.
In 2016 the building was renovated and leased out under a concession.
The bath has two classic bathing halls, separate for men and women, and 4 family cubicles with bathtubs.
The changing rooms are spacious and fitted with new lockers.
Each bathing hall has 12 showers, 22 stone basins (kurni) and a pool (plunge pool) with constantly renewed mineral water. The water in the plunge pools is 39 °C.
