Na Baniamineral baths of Bulgaria БГ

About the bath

A large, solid and imposing building with a decorative ceramic panel on the façade by Michalis Garoudis. It was built as a balneotherapy centre using mineral water, with various treatments and services. The water that fed the centre came from the “Rupite” deposit. The bath worked until the early 2000s and was then privatised by decision of Petrich Municipal Council. The mineral water infrastructure has been destroyed, as has the ceramic panel on the façade. The building now has a different use – it serves as a club.
