About the bath
The bath was built in 1928 with the volunteer work of the local community. The once magnificent park covers 9.6 hectares (with over 40 kinds of trees), and in it stands a splendid, palace-like building. This was the mineral bath of Krasnovo! Today only a dirt road leads to the bath. The local people built it with volunteer work, dreaming that this place would become a real mineral spa resort, and they made great efforts for that to happen. Under socialism many holiday homes and stations were built, which were later privatised and sold. The bath building was leased under a concession. The concessionaire made many changes to the building: he kept only one section as a bath, turned the other into a pool used with swimwear, and built an additional hotel building attached to the bath. No institution judged that the building was of architectural value and that nothing could be added to it or its original architecture destroyed without approval! After the concession contract ended, Krasnovski Mineralni Bani became the property of Hisarya Municipality, which has no interest in developing the bath. The staff are very friendly. The classic bath is used on the following schedule: even dates – men / odd dates – women.
