About the bath
The mineral bath is a large, solid building set in a park in the centre of Blagoevgrad. It was built in the 1960s as a balneotherapy centre with the classic layout of a public bath, with a men's and a women's section. The building has high architectural value, but unfortunately it has been altered many times and has lost its original appearance and impact. A concession contract for construction has been signed: part of the building is now a spa centre, while the part that houses the bath is in extremely poor condition.
