About the bath
A fountain and a makeshift plunge pool have been built here, free of charge. Clearly many people use it to ease their aches and pains. An information board about the composition and properties of the water has been put up, and a sign clearly says that it is not suitable for drinking or everyday use. Could Svishtov Municipality create better conditions for balneotherapy?

The water and its healing properties
The water temperature is about 44 °C. The Ministry of Health has issued a balneological assessment, which states that the water should be used for “external balneotherapy and balneoprophylaxis on medical prescription, following strictly defined methods and doses”. https://www.mh.government.bg/media/filer_public/2019/06/20/84-svishtov-sondazhr1hg-08-05-2018.pdf
