How to protect your personal belongings from theft in baths where the lockers do not lock

Often, in the excitement of going to the baths, we fail to take into account the fact that in most baths, the lockers for personal belongings not only cannot be locked, but very often do not even close properly. This raises the question of how to protect our personal belongings from theft.

Unfortunately, we cannot assume that visitors to the bathhouse we are in are there solely for the same purpose as us, namely to bathe. Some of them may have come with other, less honourable intentions, or, upon seeing our wallet or mobile phone, may be tempted to steal them.

Most bathhouses offer the option of leaving your valuables at the reception desk, but the times we live in mean that you shouldn’t even leave your personal documents with anyone for safekeeping, so this option is not advisable.
