The bath house of Pancharevo is very famous among the gay community in Sofia. Pancharevo is a village (now neighbourhood) approximately 15 km from the city centre. There is public transportation available, but it is recommended that you go there by car or with a taxi.
The bath itself is relatively small, compared to other bath houses listed on this site (for example bath house of Blagoevgrad). The room with lockers has somehow unpleasant smell to which you will get used quickly, but initially it might be irritating. The entrance fee has been recently increased to 3 BGN, which is quite a lot for such a place, and many visitors have discontinued their regular baths there.
Actually the bath house offers you common bath (where you are showering with everyone) and separated cabins with bath tubes. Cabins are not recommended if you are alone and looking for men. It is recommended that you first go to the common bath and afterwords if you fall in love with someone you could hire a bath tube and have a good shag.
Keep in mind that the bath closes at 7 p.m., but the staff will start emptying the pools at 6 p.m. The common bath room is not suitable for action as there are no spots where you can hide.
